  • Some VTech toys have the ability to be powered by an AC adaptor. You can purchase an AC adaptor from VTech that converts 120 volt AC to 7.5 volt DC. This adaptor is compatible with VTech products that require 9V 300mA. The VTech adaptor is not a charger and will not charge your unit. It is designed to be used as an alternative power source.

    Each product requires a separate Learning Lodge installation. Even if you have previously downloaded Learning Lodge (e.g. for MobiGo 2), you will need to download and install the Learning Lodge when adding a new type of toy (e.g. InnoTab 2).

    Each product requires a separate Learning Lodge installation. Even if you have previously downloaded Learning Lodge Navigator (e.g. for V.Reader), you will need to download and install the Learning Lodge Navigator when adding a new type of toy (e.g. InnoTab 2).
  • 1. First, you must download the Learning Lodge program for the InnoTab from www.vtechkids.com/download and install it onto your computer. Then follow the instructions to set up an account and register your InnoTab.

    2. Connect the InnoTab to the computer with the USB cable that comes with the unit.

    3. Power on the InnoTab unit. The message “Connected to Computer” will display on the InnoTab screen.

    4. Once the computer detects the InnoTab, the Learning Lodge will launch automatically.

    5. Click on the InnoTab image that has the sign showing “Connected” to go into the InnoTab Home page.

    6. Select “File Manager” which is located on the left side of the InnoTab Home page.

    7. Click on the Music tab above “My Computer”, and use the browser to locate your MP3 music file, and then click “OK.”

    8. Check the selection box next to the file and click the big right arrow (transfer to My InnoTab) in the middle of the page.

    9. If the SD card (not included) inserted in InnoTab has sufficient memory to store the content, the transfer process will begin automatically.

    10. When file transfer is completed, disconnect the USB cable.

    11. In the InnoTab main menu, touch the “Music” icon to find and play your music.
  • The Learning Lodge requires a WebKit based version of Flash Player that is different from versions for Internet Explorer or Firefox. You may need to install it again even if you’ve already installed it for these browsers.

    Under normal circumstances, when you launch the Learning Lodge, you will be prompted to install the latest Flash Player if it wasn’t installed already. If this does not happen please visit Adobe’s knowledge base (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html) and follow the instructions provided to uninstall your Flash Player.

    After you’ve uninstalled your Flash Player, launch the Learning Lodge again and follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest compatible version of Flash Player.
  • Downloads from the Learning Lodge are not refundable.
  • Just follow the steps below:

    1. Use your web browser to visit www.vtechkids.com/download

    2. Look for the image of the toy you want to connect to the Learning Lodge and click “download now” to begin installation.

    3. Run the program and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and set up an account. Then connect
    your toy to your computer with the USB cable and register your product.

    * Please note only some Learning Lodge connected products are not Macintosh compatible.
  • If you have this problem, please verify the following:

    1. The e-mail address you entered is the same one that you used to register for your account.

    2. You entered the correct password. If you forgot your password and need help resetting it, see “How do I reset my password?”

  • How do I reset my password?

    If you forgot your password, please follow the steps below to reset it:

    1. Launch the Learning Lodge.

    2. Click on “My Account” in the top menu bar.

    3. Click on “Forgot your password?”

    4. Click “Yes” on the confirmation prompt.

    5. An e-mail will immediately be dispatched to the e-mail account you used for registration with your new password. Please
    check your SPAM folder as sometimes, these emails will be directed to SPAM. If the email address used to set up your
    Learning Lodge account is now disabled, you must contact Consumer Services at VTechkids@VTechkids.com for further
    instructions.

    6. Login with the new password as given in the e-mail.

    7. After logging in, please take a moment to change your password in the “My Account” menu.
  • Please email the Customer Support team at vtechkids@vtechkids.com and provide them with the first and last name you used to register for an account, so they can look up your login information. You will also need to provide your DMLog information, so have this handy. If you need help locating this information, just let our Customer Support team know in your email and they will provide you with instructions.
  • The V.Reader supports any SD/SDHC memory cards that use the FAT12, FAT16, or FAT32 file systems. Cards that use the NTFS file system are not supported.

  • Choose the ABC Learning Classroom toy icon at the Learning Lodge Home page and select the “My Name” Button.

    You can search for a name by beginning letter, gender, or by typing it into the search engine and clicking “Search”.

    Once you have found the name, click the “Apply” button at the bottom right of the page

    At this stage you can select to hear the audio of your selection (we regret that while this is available for a broad selection of names we cannot guarantee it is available for all names).

    Additionally you can adjust the spelling of your selected name if required.

    Click the “Apply” button at the bottom right to submit.
  • If the computer or toy that stores your downloaded content needs to be replaced, you can retrieve the content online and transfer it to your new device.

    We keep a record of all the purchases you have made. As long as you download and install Learning Lodge onto your new computer and you are using the same account, you will be able to download all your previous purchases onto the new computer by going to your toy’s “My Downloads” page. All previous purchases will be automatically downloaded.

    From the same page, you can also transfer old purchases onto a new toy. Just select the files from the library and click the “Transfer” button to begin the transfer. (Note: Before you can transfer files to a new toy, you will need to add that toy to your child’s toy list.)
  • Yes. If you own multiple toys that are compatible with the downloaded title you have purchased, you can transfer the title onto all the toys (up to 5 toys total).
  • You are given Free Downloads when you first register your VTech toy at the Learning Lodge. You can redeem these Free Downloads at the Download Center of your VTech toy and get a number of free learning apps, e-books, themes, and games. To visit the Download Center click the “Download Center” button at the top of the Learning Lodge, then choose a Download Center you would like to visit on the following page.
